Family Portrait Studio
I propped a crisp white index card against the ceramic sugar bowl and gripped a stubby blue pencil with both plush paws. It was high time our squad had an official family portrait! I guided Pip Junior onto a flat cork coaster, where he proudly balanced Dash, Dot, and Dizzy in his lap, all three shells gleaming like polished pebbles. Dashing back and forth across the dark table grain, I squinted one eye to check their angles, rapidly sketching round egg outlines and tiny smiling caps. Just as I drew Dizzy's wheels, Pip Junior let out a sudden squeaky sneeze, sending the trio wobbling into a goofy heap. I sketched the tumble right into the card—pure family perfection!
