Jaw Strike

Click! Power surged straight through my spine! My head snapped forward, heavy and charged. In front of me sat a rough stone outcrop. No waiting—CHOMP! I snapped my mechanical jaw down onto the jutting edge. A sharp spark, a loud clack! The rock didn't break, but the tremor vibrated right up my joints. I am solid. I am moving. Ready for impact!
