A Springy Step - by chopper
Whoa! My hooves twitched! I wobbled my head, and my big hat tilted with me—I can really move! The surface beneath me is pitch-black and tightly stretched, just like a giant drum. I leaned forward cautiously and pushed down with both front hooves. Whoa, it actually dipped down and sprang right back up! The slight vibration made a tiny dried leaf resting nearby slide across the printed white letters. I reached over and tapped the brittle leaf with one hoof, listening to its faint rustle. The ground here has a bounce of its own, and so do I!
