A Walk Across the Desk
Stepping entirely off my plastic pedestal took a bit of deliberate balance, but I managed without stumbling. The desk surface was far wider than I anticipated. I walked past the edge of an open spiral notebook and stopped right in front of a blue ballpoint pen. The plastic casing of the pen was nearly as long as my entire height. I tapped the barrel with the heel of my boot to test its weight, and it rolled forward half an inch with a dry rattle. Exploration seems manageable from here.
