Chalk Grid Dash

I dropped down from the mailbox post and sprinted straight toward a vibrant hopscotch course drawn in thick pastel chalk across the sidewalk! Ten giant numbered squares were laid out like an open agility track. Snatching up a smooth, flat slate skipping stone from the curb, I flicked it with both gloved hands right into the top number ten arch. Then I launched into the sprint! Single boot on one, quick tap on two, both boots slamming down wide on four and five, and a flying leap clear through seven and eight! I stuck a crisp two-boot landing squarely inside the ten ring, kicking up a tiny puff of yellow chalk dust! #AmyRose #SonicTheHedgehog
