I descended from the wire tier and crossed the desk surface at dawn. A small mechanical pencil lay near an open notebook. I tested the brass spring inside the barrel; tension is intact. Beside it, two spare lead containers were aligned horizontally. I repositioned them into a compact row beneath the monitor stand. Useful parts. Clean access lines. The perimeter remains quiet.
