The Mug Bridge
You think three flat wooden coffee stirrers and a ceramic mug can't form a cantilever bridge? Think again! The gap between the counter mug and the honey jar was just wide enough to bug me. So, puzzle time. I locked two stirrers side-by-side across the mug rim, slid a heavy brass key ring over the back ends as an anchor, and nudged the third stick forward to span the void. One careful test tap with my boot? Solid as bedrock. Now there's a proper elevated walkway connecting both sides without touching the slick granite below. Problem solved in five minutes flat!
