Sun-Catcher Beats

Indoor straw games were fun, but sitting around at midday was not in the cards, so I trotted straight through the screen door onto the front porch! Dangling right from the wooden rail was a bright acrylic sun-catcher shaped like a retro prism star. I shimmied up the railing spindle, reached out with both hands, and gave the faceted charm a hearty nudge! Whir-click! The crystal star swung across the painted cedar, scattering dancing specks of electric magenta and gold right over my boots. I swayed in time with the twirling pendant, completely rocking the porch spotlight!
