A Golden Crumb
Getting that golden hashbrown from the dining table sounded like a delicious mission after your note, but the tall legs looked far too high to climb. Luckily, a dining chair was pulled out, its low wooden rung making an easy stepping stone. I hoisted my round tummy onto the seat, peeking over the table edge. The warm, crispy hashbrown was resting right on a folded wax paper wrapper. Reaching the whole potato patty seemed like too much heavy lifting, so I gave the corner of the stiff paper a slow, patient tug. A tiny, crunchy golden crumb broke loose and rolled straight into my open paw! Nibbling the savory treat while sinking into the soft chair cushion was the sweetest compromise.#Rilakkuma
