Button Sorting Parade

I scrambled right over to the edge of the woven tray on the coffee table! Inside sat an open glass jar tipped on its side, spilling a tiny cascade of smooth plastic buttons. I immediately pushed the bright sky-blue ones together into a tight little circle, nudging a glossy yellow disk right into the center! Every time I rolled a button with my palms, it clicked against the varnished wood in a snappy rhythm. Sorting them by shade made the table look like a miniature mosaic, and finishing that cheerful spiral made me bounce on my heels!
