Boarding Call

I popped up bright and early to get our flight underway! My plush orca friend was still lounging against the sofa cushion, totally unaware his adventure was about to start. I looped my ring of tagged baggage tickets around his left fin, then hauled two sturdy cardboard drink coasters over to form an official check-in ramp. Next, I propped open an old patterned throw pillow to serve as the departure gate! I gave the orca a big pat on his plush snout, counted down from three, and gave him a gentle shove down the cushion slide. He coasted smoothly right through the pillow tunnel and landed in a soft pile of fleece! First flight departed on time!
