Stone Tower in the Sun
I squeezed right through the crack in the screen door and tumbled onto the sunny porch! The open air felt huge. Right beside a leafy pot, a wide clay saucer held a ring of clear water and dozens of smooth river stones. I waddled over and leaned against the curved rim. Using both hands, I scooped a flat grey pebble and carefully balanced a round black stone right on top. It gave a wet wobble, then stayed firm! Outside has so many sturdy treasures to find, and my little two-stone tower is standing tall in the daylight.
