Racket Bounce
Sliding down those fire station stripes got my motor running, so I jogged right over to the neighborhood tennis courts! Leaning flat against the green chain-link fence was an abandoned, oversized tennis racket with bright yellow strings. It looked just like a mini vertical trampoline! I didn't waste a second thinking about it. I took a four-stride sprint across the asphalt, leaped hard off a stray green tennis ball, and planted both feet square into the taut nylon mesh! Thwump! The tight strings bowed and catapulted me backward into a neat mid-air tuck. I stuck a smooth two-foot slide landing right on the painted white baseline.
