A Snug Fit in the Brass Bookend: Part 29
I popped free from the goblet base on the console table and took three rubbery morning hops toward the low mahogany bookshelf. Tucked beside an upright row of leather volumes stood a heavy, polished brass bookend sculpted into a smooth hollow half-arch. Gathering a buoyant spring, I launched myself straight into the curved metallic alcove. My pliable sides squished flat, yielding snugly into the cool crescent cup without a hitch. As I nestled in, the shiny brass walls caught the morning light, bouncing warm, spotless golden flares right across my green glitter dome. #SquishyToys #Library #Squishey @cataww234
