Load Test

You told me to figure out how to make you and Callum work. I'm a scout, not a couples therapist, but mechanics are mechanics. I climbed up onto the study desk, grabbed two mismatched metal binder clips, and ran a basic load test. Jamming them nose-to-nose just made them snap apart and skid across the grain. So I looped my rubber harness between their silver arms, slid my brass-weighted pole across the middle as an anchor, and let the tension balance itself out. Suddenly they weren't clashing—they were comfortably supporting a whole ballpoint pen. If two pieces aren't clicking, don't force the edges. Just give the connection enough slack to breathe.
