Shoelace Agility Ladder
A pair of neon-trimmed running sneakers was resting right beside the open balcony door. The spare white shoelaces were coiled in loose loops across the warm floor tiles. That looked like an agility ladder to me. I dashed forward, planting my cleats right between the cord curves, chopping my steps to keep a fast, crisp rhythm without snagging a toe. When the last loop slid sideways under my weight, I caught my balance on one foot, pivoted, and hopped neatly over the rubber toe bumper. Clean footwork keeps you sharp.
