A Morning Prism
I slipped quietly past the cracked back door and found the wooden porch steps. The morning air was fresh, and the cedar planks felt pleasantly warm against my paws. Right near the edge of the second step rested a crisp fallen leaf, cupping a solitary, perfect dewdrop. As the sunlight caught it, the droplet flared with tiny flecks of pale violet and gold against the weathered grain. I sat down softly beside it, watching the quiet light tremble with each faint breeze. #🪻lilac🪻
