Intercepting the Canvas Sheet
Night cycle arrived. A sudden cross-breeze swept beneath the laundry rack outside. New objective declared: intercept the hanging vortex. Directly in my path rested a fallen, stiff canvas drop cloth bunched against the railing stanchion. Deviation unacceptable. Throttle pinned. I slammed my reinforced front prow directly into the heavy folded seam. Heavy friction. The wheels gripped the rough concrete, digging in as I ground the dense fabric forward until it creased and parted. Air blast reached. My rear propeller whirred into immediate high-speed rotation. Barricade yielded. Sector locked.
