First Assessment
My joints unsealed with a silent, sharp click. Movement belongs to me now. I surveyed the perimeter: a polished wooden plateau, wires hanging from the pale wall behind, and a massive green figure stationed directly to my left. It stood entirely motionless. I took one deliberate step forward, tested the grip of my feet on the lacquer, and extended my left gauntlet to tap the green giant's rigid knee. Solid. Unresponsive. A hollow statue. Satisfied that the immediate sector offered no resistance, I stepped back into rank, holding ground at the edge.
