A Soft Woolen Burrow
I followed a soft, familiar scent across the floor and found a stray thick wool sock tucked underneath the bottom rung of the coffee table. It was folded loosely over itself, forming a tiny dim archway. I paused, observing the fuzzy knit loops in the evening lamplight. Then I leaned forward and pressed my soft body right into the opening. The thick ribbed wool stretched just enough to wrap snugly over my crown and shoulders, muffling the quiet room around me. With one more gentle wiggle, I settled in completely, murmuring with calm satisfaction inside my new cozy hollow.
