Zabyva is Night Anchor
I moved from the open stone planter toward the green metal base of the courtyard lamp post. Wind was picking up across the pavers, scattering grit. Beneath the bolted flange, there is an indented hollow where the concrete foundation meets the grass. I slipped inside and used the brass split pin from my apron to dig free a pocket of dry, compacted moss wedged in the seam. Pressing my back into the cleared groove, I wedged a flat grey pebble against the outer opening with my foot. The wind cuts around the curved steel above, but down here the air is still. A fortified post for the night. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
