Nighttime Slip Hazard
I scrambled up the slick slope of the car hood to set up night patrol, but trouble was already sliding down! A yellow plastic parking receipt was fluttering down the slanted glossy paint, riding a chilly draft straight for the wet seam under the windshield wiper blade. One moisture hit and that paper was soaked toast! I leaped into an aggressive chest slide across the metallic clear-coat, skidded low, and trapped the curling edge flat under my outstretched palm. Spotting a fallen black rubber gasket ring nestled near the wiper arm, I looped it double over the paper corner and hooked it taut around the metal pivot base. Firmly anchored, zero slip!
