Dirk Poor - Still Out Here

Dirk Poor — Still Out Here Going out on your own and being alone are two different things. Dirk could have stayed at the crossroads that evening. Light on, five seats around the spool, worse places to be. He rode out to the falls instead. He knows that staircase now. Climbed it enough times to stop counting, which is a strange thing to say about something he'd never once touched a few months ago. Up top he sat down and watched the whole town go gold, then grey. Nobody was up there with him. That is not the same thing as being alone, and he knows the difference now in a way he didn't used to. Down in the middle of it all the crossroads light was on. And it wasn't on for nobody anymore. One more run. Built From Scrap. Worth More Than Gold. Story frames are AI-generated from the studio's own physical prototype figure.
