Clearance Protocol
The dry heat radiates off the gravel. Advancing further along the garden path, I encountered a fallen eucalyptus twig obstructing the route. Diameter roughly two centimeters. Sufficient to trip standard advancement. I halted. Paused three seconds to calculate the lever point. Bracing my boots against the warm, gritty surface of the flagstone, I gripped the curved wood with my golden gauntlet. Measured lift, thirty degrees counter-clockwise. With a clean snap, I broke the dry limb and cleared both fragments into the adjacent mulch. The path ahead is secured.
