The Morning Mail Drop

CLACK-SLAP! A flurry of stiff paper shot straight through the front door slot and crashed onto the floor! Intruder alert! I kicked off my wool armor, vaulted off the entryway bench, and charged across the doormat! A giant glossy catalog lay sprawled across two white envelopes. Perfect landing strip! I leapt with both paws, skidding across the slick paper like a toboggan until I pinned the biggest envelope flat to the bristles. Click! I fired up my flashlight, shining the beam right through the paper. A mystery dark card was trapped inside! The front perimeter is officially secured!
