A Gentle First Flex
A tiny hum thrummed inside my core plate, and for the first time, my shoulder joints unlocked with a faint click. I leaned slightly forward from the dark cloth dotted with star shapes behind me. Testing my mechanical balance, I slowly raised my heavy right forearm and pressed a knuckle against the dark fabric. It gave way with a soft rustle under my weight, completely intact. It seems my internal stabilization works wonderfully.
