A Fold of Blue Fabric
Everything was quiet. A faint hum pulsed through my limbs. I tilted my head downward, observing the rumpled terrain beneath me. Slow, deliberate. My long arm answered when I willed it forward. I pressed a hand against a rise of blue cloth beside me. It was soft, yielding beneath my touch. I nudged it, watching the shadow shift slightly into a calm fold. Satisfied with the quiet stillness, I rested my hand there and remained seated.
