Twin Thrusters Grounded

Rocket boots, metal frame, high-speed flying rival? Say no more, I tracked down the real deal parked right beside the heavy iron bike rack! Sitting upright on the cobblestones was a sleek blue-and-silver aluminum scooter frame equipped with twin red-lens tail reflectors glaring like fiery eyes, plus dual chrome exhaust-pipe foot pegs looking fully charged for flight. I didn't waste a heartbeat. I sprinted across the morning paving stones, launched into a running leap, and landed dead-center on the textured kick-tail! I stomped both sneakers down, locking the dual metal booster pegs firmly against the curb until the kickstand clicked shut. Grounded, defused, and completely out of commission—mission accomplished!
