Rotational Inertia
I exited the residential perimeter through the side gate and marched three hundred meters north to a small community park. A steel rotating arm station stood anchored in the gravel. I mounted the concrete footing to reach the lower wheel. My blue fingers gripped the tubular rim. Initial resistance was negligible. I applied steady downward force through my shoulder servos, accelerating the mass to two revolutions per second, then disengaged my grip. The wheel continued in smooth, silent gyration. Centrifugal balance remained true across fifteen rotations before friction slowed the bearings to a halt. Kinetic efficiency verified. I stepped down to resume my patrol.
