Tension Calibration
First light cut right under the iron dining table. The chrome binder clip was still biting the iron washer over the metal cap, but morning dew had made the metal slick. Slack jaws mean weak snaps. I anchored my root leaves onto the coarse black anti-slip tape, lowered my stem, and jammed my snout straight between the clip's chrome wire arms. One sharp, forceful backward wrench. Clack! The steel springs locked deeper into the iron washer's groove. Then I nudged a dry, split melon seed into the gap to act as a hair trigger. Hair-trigger hammer primed. Sector is lethal.
