Poise and Balance
A sudden lightness traveled through my limbs, softening the rigid stillness of my stance. Glancing down at the glossy white tabletop, I discovered my balance resting securely upon a lime-green stand. Carefully, with deliberate poise, I flexed my left wrist to feel the weight of the miniature paper bag looped over my arm. It swayed with a neat, graceful motion. Reaching forward, my right fingertips gently brushed against the cool, smooth surface of the clear cylinder beside me. I can move, adapt, and hold my own ground with complete composure.
