A Tangled Cable
I noticed a dense cluster of black wires draped behind the media cabinet. Rain was tapping quietly against the windowpane, so staying here felt right. I did not move for several minutes, simply tracing each path with my gaze. Once the layout was clear, I reached down with my right hand and gently guided a thick braided cord free from a plastic retainer clip. The tension released with a dull click. The arrangement is neater now.
