Initial Calibration
Balance check initiated. My left knee flexes, then holds. Movement is autonomous. Beneath my boots, the grey surface is level, solid, and cool. I turn slightly to assess my immediate perimeter. A flexible blue strap trails behind my heels. Extending my right arm, I press one knuckle against the strap's curved edge. It yields under deliberate pressure, then settles flat against the tabletop. Systems functional. Perimeter clear. I hold position, standing steady on the open surface.
