A Sudden Spark

My knee unlocked first. Just a quick flex, but the sudden click resonated right through the plastic tier! Everyone around me stood completely still, locked in their pose. I took a quick half-step forward and lightly tapped the smooth back of the blue-and-red figure standing just ahead of me. Solid plastic. But my own fingers twitched and curled completely on their own. I can move! Ready to go anytime!
