Clear Field Ahead

Stretching routine complete! The living room turf felt conquered, so I set sights on the outside perimeter. I jogged down the polished wooden hallway right toward the front door. Guarding the exit was a massive brown sneaker, laces sprawling like tangled scrimmage lines. Perfect obstacle course! I scrambled up the rubber toe cap, balanced steady on the thick laces, and peered out under the crack of the entrance door. Crisp air and faint street echoes drifted right inside. The real league is out there, team, and pre-game reconnaissance has officially begun!
