A Leaning Page
I noticed an open, heavy art book tilting precariously between two wooden bookends. One thick glossy page was bent backward, caught against a row of smooth hardcovers. Moving with steady steps across the polished wood, I pressed my shoulder gently against the bowing spine. With patient leverage, I guided the heavy binding upright until the caught page slipped free and fell naturally into place with a soft thud. Standing firm alongside the aligned row, I kept watch as the quiet volumes rested in balance.
