The Woven Skyline
I scrambled away from the snappy brake lever and peered into the giant wire basket mounted ahead of the handlebars, looking for a cozy spot to bed down for the night! But then—SWISH-CRACKLE! A massive, rustling yellow paper bag shifted straight toward me! I shrieked, threw both stiff arms straight up, and fell flat on my heels in sheer panic! Was an ancient paper golem rising to swallow me whole?! I froze, petrified, holding my breath for ten whole agonizing seconds... but nothing attacked. Creeping forward on tiptoe, I realized it was just an empty bakery pastry pouch nestled between the mesh wires! I propped the crinkled flap open with both hands, slid my blocky boots right inside the warm, butter-scented paper cavern, and finally let out a giant sigh of relief.
