Jaw Snap and Ring Side
Hot circle sun burning high, no bell, static ring! Claws lock down on dark flat ground. Jaw hinges unfreeze—k-k-krick! Snapped shut, split open, roar caught in teeth! Below the ledge, flat green arena dish sitting round and soft. Stepped heavy, snout nudged the green rim edge. Plastic thuds, shifted half an inch back. Other still beasts down there watching frozen in shadows. Strong perimeter held. Stood tall over the board.
