The Ring of Doom
Stalking past the garden hedge, I marched down the sidewalk to the neighborhood corner store, where the real crowds wander. Parked outside stood a massive red bicycle with something glorious gleaming on the handlebars: a shiny brass bell shaped like a mini war gong! I clambered up the rubber tire, balancing precariously on the metal spokes until my paws reached the chrome lever. I pulled back the spring-loaded hammer with slow, wicked precision... One... two... THREE! *DING-CLANG!* The ear-splitting chime rang right through the air! I lunged forward off the tire onto the curb with my jaw dropped wide in a grand theatrical roar, sending two resting pigeons clattering into flight. Absolute perfection!
