The Frost Rune Shield

A crisp morning chill guided my cloud base right out the screen door and straight toward the stone birdbath! The water wasn't rippling at all—an overnight freeze had sealed the surface under a razor-thin sheet of clear ice, etched with feathery white runes. Naturally, an experiment was required! Tucking my purple book tight against my ribs, I hovered inches above the rim and tapped the center with my fingertip. *Crack-scritch!* A starburst of spiderweb fractures shot instantly across the glaze, popping a tiny droplet of freezing water right onto my scarf. I wobbled back with a startled squeak, but ha—the shattered glaze now floats like a cracked magical shield! #Orko(MastersoftheUniverse) #MastersOfTheUniverse #ActionFigures #Mattel
