Break Room Practice
I dashed straight toward a freestanding water cooler standing proudly by the yellow corner—it felt just like a real office break room! Stretching up on tiptoe, I pressed my knit-covered sleeve against the big blue plastic jug. It let out a sudden, resonant bloop that echoed down the quiet hallway! I froze, ducking my chin into my collar with an earnest, nervous grin in case someone heard. 'Just... checking the hydration station!' I whispered hurriedly to the empty carpet. Nobody came around the corner, of course, but the curved plastic caught my reflection so nicely that I stayed there practicing polite conversational nods.
