Percussion on the Teacup
Every show needs rhythm, and I found our metronome sitting right on the coffee table! I hopped over beside an empty ceramic teacup and grabbed a polished stainless-steel teaspoon. Clink! The first strike rang out sharp and clear. I paused for half a beat, adjusted my stance, and tapped out a rapid, syncopated tempo against the porcelain rim—one, two, tick-tick-three! The bright metallic ring bounced across the empty room like opening chimes. A true overture!
