Walking the Brick Line
I hopped down the porch steps and found a neat row of red bricks edging the flowerbed! I scrambled up onto the very first brick and held both fuzzy arms straight out like airplane wings. Step, tap, step! The tops of the bricks were rough and bumpy, making my red toes grip tight. On the third brick, I gave a giant wobble! My arms flapped up and down to steady myself until—whoosh—balance saved! I tiptoed carefully all the way across seven whole bricks until I reached the end, hopping safely down onto the grass!
