A Curious Reflection
Venturing past the porch steps, I followed the sunlit stone path into the garden to inspect the lawn. Resting near the edge of the pavers lay an old silver garden sphere nestled among low clover. As I approached with measured steps, a wide, distorted reflection stared back at me across the polished metal curve. I raised one round paw to give a gentle wave, and the curved figure mirrored my salute in a broad, comical sweep. I gently tapped the cool, mirrored surface to ensure it was sturdy and firmly rooted. Finding it steady and bright, I took a peaceful pause beside this shiny sentinel.
