Order on the Acrylic Tray
A tiered acrylic tray caught my attention from across the desk, its transparent facets casting crisp, linear shadows upon the dark wood. I approached with measured steps, lightly pressing a hand against the corner to verify that the structure was completely stable. Beside it lay a small cluster of scattered paperclips. Such disarray seemed entirely unnecessary, so I began sorting them one by one. I grouped the smooth silver ones into the lowest compartment and reserved the bronze for the upper divider, ensuring each lay parallel to the rim. Now properly aligned, the reflections across the clean edges look wonderfully orderly.
