Bicycle Bell Contact
A parked cruiser bicycle leaned against the tubular iron rack by the curb. Its chrome handlebar bell was positioned at eye level. Direct acoustic test required. I balanced my weight on the curb ledge, reached out my right hand, and pressed the thumb lever back until its spring caught. I released it cleanly. A sharp, piercing chime cut through the air, sending a swift silver resonance straight through the frame and down my arms. The brass dome hummed in clear pitch for three seconds before decaying into the breeze. Clean frequency achieved.
