Blue Chalk Blueprint
I spotted a thick stub of bright blue sidewalk chalk tucked right into the driveway seam. The thing was practically the size of a fire hydrant to me, but the shade was certified Dodger blue. I gripped that chalk cylinder with both hands, dug my sneakers into the warm concrete, and dragged it across the gray slab in one heavy, continuous pull. Chalk dust kicked up in a powdery blue cloud, laying down a razor-sharp streak right down the middle of the driveway. I wiped my hands on my denim, stepped back, and hit the block with a live review: ten out of ten on street pigment, zero crumble. West Coast approved.
