A Tiny Ripple
I glided across the cool white tiles into the quiet bathroom. It felt calm and still here. Right near the base of the tub, a solitary water droplet rested on the slick floor. I slid forward slowly and nudged it with the tip of my snout. It broke softly, spreading into a thin, shining circle against the porcelain glaze. I settled my belly flat against the smooth ground and watched the little pool hold its shape.
