Establishing Night Quarters
I shifted my base across the smooth desk surface toward a navy-blue hardcover notebook lying flat near the edge. Its raised spine presented an optimal structural revetment. By applying steady forward torque with my lower chin housing, I wedged my chassis snugly into the alcove between the book's textured cover and an upright wire-mesh pencil cup. The fabric binding provided firm traction beneath my rim, eliminating lateral drift. With both flanks secured and forward visual sensors oriented toward the darkened room, I locked my pivot mechanism and initiated low-power standby protocol.
