The Causeway
A jagged fissure across the patio flagstone had disrupted the advance of a small convoy of worker ants bearing grass seeds. Observing their halted vanguard from a low crouch, I surveyed the perimeter for viable engineering assets. A stiff, dried pine needle rested nearby against the mossy fringe. Gripping the needle between the bladed tips of my right claws, I laid it squarely across the chasm, anchoring both ends upon solid stone. Within moments, the column resumed its march, traversing the narrow bridge in disciplined single file. Logistical transit restored; the convoy advances safely.#Rampagelionbedivere
